Choice of SDP
Why did De Koperen Markies choose SDP?
The brewery chose to have a website / web shop developed by SDP from Sint-Niklaas. Both companies have been working together for some time for the company's ERP system.
"Because we already work very well with SDP for our Robinson for Drinks software, it was a logical step to also turn to SDP for our webshop with SDP. After all, they offer a fully integrated platform. Our software is based on Microsoft Business Central by Microsoft and also has a Hugo Mertens explains.
What really moves us forward
Automatic coupling
This link allowed for quick switching. All info about articles and prices is delivered directly from the software to Shopify. The consumer can very easily make a selection of beers on the webshop and can also choose from the different variants (bottle, clip, container,...). The empties are automatically included in the shopping basket.
An appropriate gift
Gift Packaging
Hugo Mertens continues, "We also offer our customers different gift packages and compositions. Always nice to offer as gifts. We even go so far as to personalize gift packaging with a specific inscription, company logo, etc. All orders coming through our web shop are automatically loaded into our ERP system. This makes the chance of mistakes non-existent and it also allows us to be fast and short on time."
We think it's important that as many people as possible can learn about our brewery and our products. Locally we have already established a solid position but we see it bigger. This made it imperative that we also have an online presence.
Our online store
Smooth E-commerce where our customers are the focus
Once customers have placed an order through the webshop, they can also perfectly follow the subsequent process up to home delivery. This online sales channel is also closely monitored by De Koperen Markies. Payments come in through the integrated Shopify Payments system.
Marketing campaigns are also launched via analyses of website visits: "It is important to us that consumers can become acquainted with our products via all kinds of channels. You can find our beers at retailers but also the real beer lover can contact us directly. The reactions to our webshop are very positive. We want to develop this even further in the future. Thanks to the integration with our ERP system a perfectly feasible map!"
